Did you know that anxiety can increase adipose fat tissue in the body?

Yup, it's true.  When you are in a state of anxiety or stress, your body goes into a state of protection. It prioritizes the "Fight-or-Flight" system and directs most of the energy to the muscles.  It deprioritizes the other systems that are not immediately necessary for the moment (like digestive, reproductive, and metabolic systems).  If you are in a state of anxiety or stress often, it could be a main cause of weight gain.
