This is a "NeuroMetabolic Movement."  It calms the nervous system and boosts metabolism at the same time.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Beginners do this 1x each side everyday.
  • Advanced can do 3-5 repetitions each side daily.
  • It's best to do first thing in the morning (to improve metabolics all day).
  • Add to the other movements to complete your 7-Minute Morning Routine

Frequency & Duration:

  • It takes 1 to 3 sessions to improve digestion, feel better, and find more calm.
  • It takes 30 sessions to reset your nervous system, improve mood and motivation, and less cravings.
  • After 60 sessions, you'll see tighter waist, less fat, more energy, and faster metabolism.

Caution:

Be careful when doing this while having neck or back pain. It can help improve back/neck pain but you can't force it into pain.  See the caution tab below.

Be careful if having vertigo or other balance issues.

  • Don't force it into pain. You should not increase your primary pain by more than 1-2 pain points (on a 10-Point scale).
  • Stay within comfortable ranges.
  • Don't over do it.

If you have vertigo or other balance issues, make sure to have assistance while attempting to perform this maneuver.

What does this NeuroMetabolic Movement do?

It relieves tension from the iliopsoas muscle, hips and ribcage (super important).  It can have an immediate calming effect subsequently improving digestion and fat-burning.

How does it work exactly?

When the iliopsoas muscle is tense, it sends signals to the brain that it's in a state of threat. This can stimulate the secretion of the cortisol hormone. When cortisol is high, it creates a viscious cycle of more anxiety and tension. This NeuroMetabolic Move, relieves tension out of the body and calms the nervous system out of a sympathetic state. This opens up your fat-burning gates and allows for proper digestion and nutrient absorption.
